Blogging Again?

In an attempt to get a career rolling in interior styling, I have decided to start blogging again after taking almost two years off.  I am currently in the process of redesigning my blog, so it may look different in the coming weeks.  Here are a few snapshots I took the other day to send in to another blog that requested "sweet spots".

A couple of vignettes with some estate sale finds.  My goal today is to compile as many photos as I can of goodies found at estate sales.

A Few Changes

I decided to update my living room recently. It felt too light in color so I took the leather chair from the playroom and put in where the wing chair used to be. I moved the wing chair next to my armoire. I also updated my armoire for the fall. I also plan to make a few more changes to the color scheme. Pink is still on my brain. I have purchased all the fabric, I just need my Mom's help with making the pillows!

Accessorizing

My favorite thing to do around the house is to rearrange my home accents. I probably rotate my accessories on a daily basis. Changing out my summer items for fall accents is what I am working on now. Lonny's new blog has great archive photos. The photos below represent the style I like when it comes to accessorizing.

Small House

September's Canadian House and Home made me so happy! It featured small spaces. The article pictured below resonated with me because it showed how a small home can be a happy and beautiful place. That is how I feel about my house; most of the time!

Charleston

I went to Charleston thinking that I would stroll through the side streets of the Battery admiring houses and shop all the antique shops on King Street. I had about twenty minutes to look at houses while Jeremy slept in the car and I only drove down King Street. I actually came home with nothing for myself. Although I did not get any physical momentos of my trip, the memories with my family and best friends are priceless. We had the most amazing trip. I am thankful for the quality time with my family, especially after the crazy and random summer we have had.

The few random photos I took of houses on the Battery. Jeremy was sleeping in the car with Jason and Johanna and Jackson were following me around very bored.

So Inspired

I love everything about the series of photos shown below from FullHouse. I am so inspired by the photos and cannot wait to actually call myself a decorator!

Furbish

Now I want this bedding from the FurbishStudioOnline store. Too bad it is almost three times as much as the other duvet set. I love everything at this online store. All the blogs are writing about it. Here are a few other items on my wish list:
