Although I love my little old house, it is not old enough for me. I dream of one day owning a house that is from the 40's or earlier. The character of an old home is what appeals to me. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is something you don't see anymore in newer homes. I also like the idea of separate rooms for each space, not one big great room. Don't get me wrong, I do like newer homes, I just seem to be drawn to homes with history.
